This large fine arts museum, founded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1937, is located in the Crown Prince's Suite (Veliaht Dairesi) at Dolmabahçe Palace.
The Museum in Beşiktaş houses an extensive collection of Turkish and European works of art from the 19th and 20th centuries. There are over 10,000 paintings and 650 sculptures in the museum’s collection.
Among the Turkish artists are Şeker Ahmed Pasha, Yervant Osgan, İbrahim Çallı, Hüseyin Zekai Pasha, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Osman Hamdi, Hoca Ali Riza, and Süleyman Seyyid.
The European artworks are from masters such as Pierre Bonnard, Pablo Picasso, Maurice Utrillo, Henri Matisse, Albert Marquet, Andre Derain, Raoul Duly and A. Dunoyer de Sagons.

Hours: They are from 12:00 am to 16:00 pm every day, except Monday and Tuesday
