Yozgat National Park

Location: The park is 5km south of Yozgat, in Central Anatolia.

Transportation: Getting to the park by road is via the Ankara–Kayseri highway.

Highlights: The park covers an area of 262 hectares and has an average altitude of 1350m, and is a rarity in Turkey in that it was mad-made. It has a good coverage of black pine, oak and juniper trees. Bogazkoy, the capital city of the Hittites, lies 40km north of the park, and within the area are Alacahoyuk and Sarikaya thermal springs.

Facilities: There is no accommodation, but camping and picnic sites are available
