Hatay Metropolitan Municipality was informed that the request for hosting in EXPO 2021 and the application of the applicant were accepted.
According to the written statement made by the municipality, Hatay Metropolitan Mayor Lütfü Savaş made a presentation for EXPO 2021 in the General Assembly of the International Association of Horticultural Manufacturers (AIPH) in Germany. After the presentation, the city's application for candidacy was accepted by a vote of union.
The war, which included the comments, stated that Hatay's acceptance to EXPO 2021 was the city's most prestigious project.
Despite the events in the region and outside the border, Hatay's acceptance to the EXPO 2021 nomination was a great opportunity to open up to the world market, Savaş said:
"We made our presentation in AIPH General Assembly in Germany for EXPO 2021 which we are nominated with the theme of" Civilizations Garden "and after the presentation we were accepted with the approval of the candidacy of our candidacy and we hope that our work will continue with the same excitement and bring EXPO to Hatay. It will be a prestigious city in the eyes of the world. "
It was emphasized that EXPO 2021 will be arranged in the city after the planned meeting in March.
