General Directorate of Press and Information (DGPI) and the Office of Public Diplomacy jointly organised a programme for the visit of the health correspondents from Middle East and North Africa countries between November 18-21 in Tukey.
16 journalists were hosted in Istanbul and Ankara within the scope of the Journalist Delegation Programme. The delegation visited Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy as well as Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. The delegation also met Necdet Ünüvar, the president of health commission in the Grand National Assembly.
During their programme in Istanbul, the delegation visited Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).
The DGPI and the Office of Public Diplomacy have hosted journalists from Russia, Turcic Countries, India, Uganda, Kuwait, Argentina, Georgia, Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (IKRG), Libya, Bahrain, Latin America, Croatia and Hungary in Turkey within the scope of the “Journalist Delegation Programme” in 2015.
