First Lady Emine Erdoğan met with Cilia Flores, the wife of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros, who is in Istanbul to attend the 23rd World Energy Congress, at the Tarabya Presidential Residence.
Expressing the pleasure they felt over the strengthening relations between Turkey and Venezuela, the two First Ladies exchanged views on the ongoing works in the fields of education, health, etc. in their respective countries.
In the meeting, Turkish ney music was performed for and gifts representing the traditional Turkish culture were presented to Venezuela’s First Lady Flores.
